Event ticketing platforms

Fair on-sales, paid organisers and a quick door.

Selling tickets is simple until a popular event goes on sale. We build ticketing platforms that keep people’s place in line, pay organisers directly and give the team on the door what they need on the night.

Who it’s for.

Promoters and venues who want to sell tickets under their own name
Marketplaces selling tickets for many organisers
Events that need waitlists, private listings or affiliate sales

What it has to get right.

Fair queues when demand spikes: Availability updates live, the queue shows each person’s place, and an offer is held for a set time before it passes to the next person. Nobody pays for a ticket that has already gone.
Organisers paid without chasing: Payouts go straight to each organiser through the payment provider, and refunds are automated, including bulk refunds when an event is cancelled.
Tickets on the phone: QR code tickets that can be transferred to someone else, invite links to claim them, and a button to add the event to a calendar.
Tools for the night: A door view for scanning tickets and watching capacity, and a view for artists with schedules and setlists.
Everything else an organiser runs: Multi-ticket checkout, discount codes, waitlists, time-limited offers, affiliate tracking, private listings and analytics, with event pages built to be found in search.

Questions.

Why not use an existing ticketing service?: For many events an existing service is the right answer, and we will say so. A platform of your own makes sense when you want your own brand and customer relationship, your own fees, or features the services don’t offer.
Can organisers be paid directly?: Yes. Agora Events uses Stripe Connect to pay each organiser into their own account, and refunds, including bulk refunds for a cancelled event, are handled in the platform.
What happens when a big event goes on sale?: People join a queue, see their position and get a time-limited offer when it is their turn, so stock is never promised to two people at once. We plan around the busiest on-sale you expect before launch.
What does it cost?: It depends on whether you sell your own events or run a marketplace for other organisers, which adds organiser accounts and payouts. After a short call we send a written plan before any work starts.
